FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
If you are having trouble signing in, there are a few things to check.
1. Double check that you are using the correct email or username and password combination.
2. If you have forgotten your username or password, you can reset it again
3. If you are still having trouble send us a mail on email@example.com , we can see if there is another issue with your account.
Reviews from the Renomania community are extremely valuable to other users when they are researching Professionals or Brands to work with. You can find the Professional or Brand you want to review and click the "Review Me" link on their profile page. You can rate the Professional or Brand with inputs for multiple parameters on Quality of Work / Product, Timeliness, Budget adherence and so on . Be sure to fill in the form completely and include details of the work done with the Professional or Brand and the ballpark project costs. You will be able to write a review only after after you sign in . It may take up to 48 hours for your review to appear, depending on the current volume, longer if more information is needed for clarification.
Renomania user profiles are public. However, you can adjust what information appears on your profile page. To change those settings, sign into Renomania . Click My Renomania , then click Edit Profile. You can change the Privacy status of your profile to Public or Private. If your Profile is set to private you can see your Cover Image , Profile image and name and all other details including scrapbooks , followers , following and reviews will be hidden.
To update or reset your password, sign in to your Renomania account and go to My Renomania. . Click Edit Profile, then click the Change Password button. If you have forgotton your password then you have to fill in the Forgot Password form . The new password will be sent to your registered email address with instructions.
To change your registered email you have to go to My Renomania page and enter current password and new Email address.
You can manage all of your email settings by signing in to your account. Click on My Renomania page, then Edit Profile. From there, you can change your email settings.
We advise against changing your username. Doing so will change the address of your public profile, break existing web links to your profile, and impact search engine results for your uploaded photos and scrapbooks. If you still want to change your username, first sign in to your account. Go to My Renomania , then click on Edit Profile. In the Profile Details section of this page, click the Change Username button. From there, you will be able to enter a new username.
Go to My Renomania by clicking on the top right of the screen. Scroll to your cover photo and a "Change Cover Photo" button will appear. Click it to change your cover photo by browsing for an image saved your computer. Please use a photo that is 1100 pixels or larger for best results.
The "Edit Profile" button is located on the right side of your new cover photo. Click it to edit your profile.
User can post updates to their followers by uploading pictures with the comments in various scrapbooks. The followers will also get a notification when the user adds a new review or posts a new update ( if it is marked Public ) .
Click the "Add a Photo" button in "Your Updates" on My Renomania page to upload photos into the scrapbook and write comments and make markings to identify features or products in the Photo .
When you find a photo you'd like to add to a new scrapbook, click the scrapbook icon on the photo. Choose Create New Scrapbook and type in the name of your new Scrapbook. Click the Save to Scrapbook button at the bottom and the photo will be in your newly created Scrapbook.
To delete a Scrapbook, sign in, then go to My Renomania. Click on the Scrapbook, then click the Edit button. Click "Delete this Scrapbook" .
To move or copy photos you have saved in a Scrapbook, sign in to Renomania, then click My Renomania. Click on the Scrapbook, then click the Edit button at the top. From there, you can change the title, edit your comments, and select photos to move, delete or copy to other Scrapbooks. You can also rearrange the photos by clicking and dragging them into the order you would like them to appear.
To delete photos you have saved in your Scrapbook, sign in and go to My Renomania. Click on the Scrapbook, then click the Edit button. Select one or more photos you want to delete, then click the Remove Photos button.
To edit comments you have saved with photos in a Scrapbook, sign into Renomania, then go to My Renomania. Click on the Scrapbook, then click the Edit button. Edit your comments, then click Save.
To edit the name of a Scrapbook, sign in and go to My Renomania. Click on the Scrapbook, then click the Edit button. Enter a new name and click Save.
My Renomania Scrapbooks can be either public or private. To make a Scrapbook private, sign in and go to My Renomania. Click on the Scrapbook you would like to make private, then the Private button.
There is no limit to how many photos you can display with a single Scrapbook. But for ease of searching separate very large Scrapbooks into smaller, more specific topics. You can move photos from one Scrapbook to another new or existing Scrapbook.
There are a few different options for sharing photos you will find on Renomania. Each photo has a button associated with it to share it via email. Just click the email icon and fill in the email addresses of anyone you would like to share with. The link to the photo shall be mailed to your friend. Click the Facebook, Twitter , Linkedin or Google Plus button found with the photo to share on these social media. To share multiple photos at once, save them all in a single Scrapbook. Go to that Scrapbook, then click the Share button. From there you can search for another Renomania user, or enter the email address of anyone you would like to share with.
Scrapbooks are an easy way to save and organize the photos you love when browsing on Renomania. When you find a photo you would like to save, click the Scrapbook Icon. The photo can be saved to one of your existing Scrapbooks or you can create a new one.
Because the content on Renomania changes so rapidly it is not possible to take up where you left off when browsing photos on the site.
If you see another Renomania user you would like to see updates from, go to their profile page and click the Follow button you see there.
You will see the site activity for the people you choose to follow on your feed.
The user can turn on or off the notifications for new updates by of users he is following or new users who are following him. Replies of a PRO for review written by user can also be turned off .
Reviews on Renomania are moderated before they are posted. That process can take up to 48 hours depending on the current volume of reviews. If more information is needed from the reviewer for clarification, that could take a bit longer. FAQ'S FOR PROFESSIONALS
To add photos of your professional work to your projects, sign in to Renomania and click the Add Project as indicated in a grey box. On the Add project page you can write out few lines about the project , its location and upload photos with appropriate titles. Complete some basic information about the photo, then follow the instructions to select photos from your computer and click the Upload button.
Here's a helpful guide on what can and cannot be uploaded to Renomania:
1.Photos of a any project designed or executed by you .
2.Photos should be large ie width in a landscape picture should be 1100 pixel and in portrait a 1000 pixel
3.Photo should be around 1 Mb size
4.File format to be .Jpg, .Jpeg, .Gif or .Png
5.Photos should be devoid of people , animals , clutter like electrical wires, dirty pans & pots and wide angle lens distortion .
6.Photos should have been treated with appropriate colour correction and enhancement.
Do not Upload -
1.Small size photos
2.Photos in format .Pdf , .Tiff , .Eps format
Once your photos have been uploaded, you can add categories and descriptions. The more information you provide, the more likely your photos will be discovered. Only Photos of Residential spaces will be displayed in the Photo Listing Page.
Sign in to Renomania and go to My Renomania Page . At the top right corner you will see an small icon that will read "Change Cover Photo"on mouse over . Click it to change your cover photo. Please use a photo that is 1100 pixels or larger for best results.
